JANUARY 2024 - YEAR IN REVIEW
CATCHING UP 2019 - 2022
PRLLC has been inactive for a few years related to my tumble and the Christmas Eve emergency surgery for my broken hand (2019-2022). Afterwards, there were delays related to COVID and studio lock-downs (2022).
LAST YEAR - 2023
The first major event was a household and business relocation to central Ohio. Next, my hand recovered so I was able to play harp again. Afterwards, the following business projects were accomplished: set up of the larger office and new computer system, inventory reorganization, improved security, upgraded the accounting system, purchased a looper for sound effects and a larger Vox amp, added a second glass flute, and received the custom-built transparent electric Crystal Praise Harp.
THIS YEAR - 2024*
This year brings exciting challenges and projects. First, an 88 keyboard controller, interface, and software is needed to complete the system upgrade started last year. It will improve virtual practice sessions, add sound effects, and accommodate automated digital notation for faster composing.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ARE NOW OPEN for Christian musicians, vocalists, sound technicians, and more. Studio recording time will be scheduled during the 3rd and 4th quarters of this year. The theme of our fourth album is “Comfort.”
If you would like to participate in our PRLLC MUSIC & GOSPEL OUTREACH INITIATIVES this year please fill out an interest form. The DEADLINE is March 10, 2024.
Most pre-recording practice can be done at home and then reviewed online. Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation to the recording studio and instrument setup/breakdown. Not all vocal styles and instruments are needed for every project. Songs will be recorded at the studio in Newark Ohio during regular business hours of 8am-5pm M-F. Volunteers will not be charged fees or paid compensation for recording sessions.
All music produced is the sole property of PRLLC and will be released free to the public. Music waivers are required. Parental authorization and studio attendance is required for minors. Background checks may be required. The genre is Christian contemporary praise and worship. PRLLC follows biblical standards of ethics and business best practices.
Psalm 9:1, "I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works." KJV
*Projects listed are a forecast of desired goals, Lord willing!
